Overview
These terms govern your use of maplewood.top and enrolment in our courses. By using our site you agree to these terms.
Maplewood Drawing provides art education services in the UK, including in-person and online classes, workshops, and digital resources. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a course. If you are 13–17, a parent or guardian must complete the purchase and supervise participation.
Enrolment and payment
- Fees are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Places are confirmed upon payment receipt.
- Cancellations: full refund up to 7 days before the start date.
- Transfers: you may request to move to a later session up to 72 hours before start, subject to availability.
- Digital downloads and on‑demand content are non‑refundable once accessed, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- We may cancel or reschedule a class for reasons beyond our control; if so, you will be offered a full refund or a free transfer to an alternative date.
Conduct
We maintain a respectful learning environment. We may remove participants who disrupt classes, engage in abusive behaviour, or breach health and safety rules. No solvents or hazardous materials may be used without prior permission.
Materials and equipment
Unless otherwise stated, learners are responsible for their own materials and equipment. Where equipment is provided, you agree to use it responsibly and return it in the same condition, fair wear and tear excepted.
Website use
- You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.
- We may update content at any time. Information is provided for general guidance and may change.
- Accounts, where provided, are personal; keep your credentials secure and notify us of any suspected compromise.
Intellectual property
All content on our site and course materials (including text, images, videos, and lesson plans) are owned by Maplewood Drawing or our licensors and are protected by UK copyright law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission, except as permitted by fair dealing.
Health and safety
For in‑person sessions, you must follow all safety instructions, including any COVID‑19 or venue rules. If you have allergies or conditions that may be affected by art materials (e.g., charcoal dust), please notify us before attending.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Maplewood Drawing is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. If we fail to comply with these terms, our total liability for foreseeable loss or damage is limited to the price you paid for the relevant course.
